Privacy Policy

United States of America Semiquincentennial — 250 years, 1776 to 2026

Effective June 17, 2026

Quentir Systems LLC ("Quentir," "we," "us") publishes intelligence reports and a newsletter, and sells digital products through this website. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written to meet California (CCPA/CPRA and CalOPPA) and applicable US federal requirements.

Information we collect

Information you give us. Your name and email address when you create an account, buy a product, or subscribe to our newsletter; the contents of messages you send us. When you make a purchase, your payment-card details are entered with and processed by our payment processor (Stripe) — we do not receive or store full card numbers.

Information collected automatically. Standard log and device data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page) and similar data from cookies and analytics, used to operate and improve the site.

How we use it

We use personal information to: deliver and grant access to the products you purchase; process payments and send receipts; send the newsletter and necessary service messages; respond to your inquiries; secure the site and prevent fraud; meet legal and tax obligations; and understand and improve how the site is used. We do not use your information to make legally significant decisions about you by automated means.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Because the law on browser "Do Not Track" signals is not settled, we do not currently respond to them.

How we share information

We share personal information only with service providers who work on our behalf under contract — for example our payment processor (Stripe), our email/newsletter provider, analytics, and website hosting — and only as needed to provide the service. We may also disclose information to comply with law or a valid legal request, to protect our rights, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your choices and California privacy rights

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any newsletter email. If you are a California resident, you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request its correction or deletion, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of it (we do none). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email privacy@quentirsystems.com; we may need to verify your identity before we act.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Other points

We operate from the United States, and information we collect is processed there. Our site and products are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 16; we do not knowingly collect their information. We may update this policy; we will post the new effective date here.
