The constellation

why abundance, and for whom

The abundance movement has opened an essential conversation: how intelligence, energy, and invention might expand what humanity is able to provide. Quentir joins that conversation and brings one thing to it — a way of asking, for every advance, whose life actually improves.

That question has a name in our work: Equal Relative Abundance. A new capability matters most for the people it reaches. As these technologies grow, the measure that counts is how widely their benefit is shared, and how much dignity and opportunity they extend to those who have the least. Access, ownership, safety, and stewardship belong inside each forecast below.

The ten differ sharply in evidence, maturity, and timescale; each stands at its own point on the frontier. Every one of them carries a governance question as serious as its technical one. That is why they live among Quentir’s frameworks for responsible innovation: let each advance in capability arrive with an equally serious commitment to the people it should serve.

    By 2032, solar plus storage is the cheapest new power in most markets worldwide.

    Weakens if: Solar plus storage misses the low-cost mark in a majority of markets by 2032.

    Quantum- and AI-assisted therapeutics

    By 2035, an AI-designed drug candidate with a quantum simulation step reaches late-stage trials.

    Weakens if: No such candidate reaches phase III by 2035.

Each call above is only half the measure. The full reading asks a second question of every one of them: whom it reaches when it arrives. Conviction bands are deliberately coarse — Emerging (well-evidenced, moving), Open (plausible, contested), Distant (long-range, many dependencies).

Fusion machines hold record plasmas and carry signed offtake agreements. AI-discovered materials are entering pilot lines. Solar and storage keep setting cost records. Precision fermentation, city-scale water projects, and commercial robot deployments all run today at demonstration scale.
